Dr. Heba Abolaban is a Palestinian public health physician and Islamic scholar. She memorized the Quran and studied ilm Al-Tajweed by age 12, holding multiple ijazaat in Qira'at Al-Quran. She earned her medical degree from Damascus Medical School and an MPH from Northeastern University. With experience as a Women's Health Consultant and educator, she has developed courses on cultural competency and female puberty in Islam. She also conducted research in Islamic psychology at Stanford University and now offers online courses while enjoying her role as a mother.
