Mentorship for Salah Workshop
Three Meeting Required
The Core Mentor will:
- Be assigned a table of 5-7 youth
- Be tasked with engaging with these youth and discussing the different segments
- Go through the program booklet with the youth
- Ensure that youth are as cooperative and attentive as possible
- Help with set-up and clean-up as needed
The Jr. Mentor/Volunteer will
- Set-up and clean-up (setting up tables, decoration, Set-up and clean-up (setting up tables, decoration, passing out booklets, etc.)
- Pass out supplies to youth
- Take kids to bathrooms, to make wudu, etc. as needed
- Assist core mentor in mentoring/engaging with youth

It is essential for the youth to build strong bonds with their mentors, and commitment and consistency is vital and highly valued in this position. You are expected to:
- Come on time and attend pre-program meetings.
These meetings are essential to keep the team on the same page and ensure that you are prepared for the program. - Remain attentive and on-task.
Follow the packets given to you, constantly engage with the children, and stay vigilant to keep track of any issues that may arise. - Give notice. Inform us beforehand, and as early as possible if you are unable to follow through on a commitment or make it to a day of a program.
