Ustadh Basil, an economist in antitrust litigation, holds dual BAs from UC Berkeley. He is a final-year ‘Alimiyyah student at Qalam Institute, with over 7 years of Islamic studies. He memorized the Quran at 14 and holds an ijāza in the ten qirā’āt.
